Largo, Fla. (August 7, 2015) – PIXELTEQ will display its PixelSensor spectral sensor with new OEM electronics board at SPIE Optics + Photonics exhibition, booth 641. The show takes place August 11-13 at the San Diego Convention Center (San Diego, Calif.).

PixelSensor with OEM Electronics Board (Project Fiona)

PixelSensor, now partnered with a new OEM electronics board, is designed for easy integration into customers’ analytical equipment and provides a smaller footprint (45.72mm x 21.34mm) and faster time-to-market. This offers a cost-effective alternative to traditional sensor technology. The parallel channel design results in no moving parts and faster measurements than discrete optic designs and spectrometers. PixelSensor provides spectral sensing in an integrated package design that includes up to eight photodiodes with optical filters. The number of channels, package type and filter characteristics may all be customized to fit customers’ specific application needs. PixelSensor with new OEM electronics board is ideally suited for in vitro diagnostic instruments, biochemical assays, imaging and colorimetry applications.
